Brighton McBride

My name is Brighton McBride, I am a student at Blue Valley West High School in Overland Park, Kansas. I started riding horses when I was 11 years old. I have quite an interesting story regarding my riding career. I am very grateful for each and every step along the way that has led me to where I am today. There's no place I'd rather be than at the barn around horses!

I am excited to announce the purchase of my new show horse!

Willy Gunna Want Me (Winnies Willy x The Good Girl Rocks) aka Paisley is a 2017 mare. Her past owner started Paisley herself and slowly began venturing into the show atmosphere. I bought her on December 12th! She goes into full time training with Kendra Weis at the end of January. I am very excited for this new opportunity and I am looking forward with working with Kendra in preparation for the 2021 season!

Being on an Equestrian team in college has been a goal of mine for many years. In December 2019 I got to attend OSU's Winter Prep Camp for horsemanship. In summer of 2021 I attended a camp at UTM. They both taught me so much!
